As per Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Order No. 11011121/2015/IS.IV dated 30th April,2015 NIA suo motu took over the investigation of FIR No .0029/2015 dated 26/03/2015 registered at Police Station Kohima North , Nagaland under Sections 307 & 326 of IPC and Section 25(1B) of Arms Act and re-registered the case on 18/02/2015 at Police Station NIA Delhi as Case RC-04/2015/NIA/DLI under Sections 307 & 326 of IPC, Sections 16 & 18 of UA(P) Act and Section 25(1B) of Arms Act.

Summary of Allegations

On 26/03/2015 the NSCN (K) cadres fired upon Assam Rifles persoru1el near Indira Gandhi Stadium Gate (Meriema Side), Kohima, Nagaland in which four personnel of the Assam Rifles were injured and sent to Hospital for treatment.

The Case is under further investigation.
