Summary of Allegations

On 02/11/2015 two unidentified motor cycle borne assailants fired two rounds from a revolver like arms on Sh.Shirish Bengali and another on Sh. Pragnesh Chhitubhai Mistry and killed the both and later fled from the scene. A case crime No. 164/2015 dated 02/11/2015 was registered at Bharuch City ‘A’ Division Police Station, Bharuch, Gujarat under sections 114 & 302 of IPC, Section 25(1) C of Arms Act and Section 135 of Gujarat Police Act. Subsequently, Gujarat Police, during the course of investigation had also added sections 34, 120(B), 121, 121-A, 153-A & 450 of IPC, Sections 25(1), 25(1)AA & 27 of Arms Act, Sections 13, 17 & 18 of UA(P)Act in the case.

Present Status of Investigation

In this case , chargesheet was filed on 07/05/2016 against 10 accused persons.
