As per GOI, MHA order No 11011/24/2012-IS-IV dated 04/04/ 2013 and 04/11/2013 NIA has taken over the investigation of the FIR No. 28/2012 of Zunheboto PS, Nagaland and re- registered the case on 11/11/2013 at PS NIA, Guwahati as Case No. RC-03/2013/NIA/GUW u/s 409,120 (B), 121,468 & 34 of IPC, Section 25(1A) of Arms Act, Section 29 of Police Act and Section 7, 8 of Nagaland Security Regulation Act.

Summary of Allegations

The case was registered based on the allegation of criminal conspiracy for misappropriation of Government arms and ammunition belonging to Zunheboto DEF , by Government servants namely ABSI Kughai Zhimomi and other staff of the RO(Clothing) , establishment of Zunheboto DEF , and selling/supplying the same to the undergroung groups like NSCN(U) and NSCN(K) for waging war against the Government of India
