As per GOI, MHA Order No No. 11011/22/ 2013-IS-IV dt: dated 01.05.2013 NIA has taken over the investigation of FIR No Crime No1622/2012 of Mavelikkara Police Station, and re-registered the case on 16.05.2013 at PS NIA, Hyderabad as case No. RC-04/2013/NIA/HYD under section (1) IPC –109, 120(B),143, 147, 149, 361 (2) Juvenile Justice Act 1986 :Sec (s)23. (3) Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967: Sec(s) 3 read with 10,13, 18, 18 (B) 20 and 35.

Summary of Allegations

The case was based on the allegation of conspiracy by the members of the proscribed terrorist organisation Communist Party of India (Maoist) for recruiting members followers for unlawful terrorist activities and to promote anti national activities that were likely to adversely affect the integrity, sovereignty and national security of India.

Present Status

Charge sheet was filed against 5 (five) accused persons before the Hon’ble NIA Special Court, Ernakulam on 22.04.2015.

Final Judgement Pronounced on 29.04.2017.
