As per GOI, MHA order No. 11011/30/2014-IS.IV dated 20/05/2014 and 16/07/2014, NIA took over the investigation of FIR No. 64/2014 of Gobardhana Police Station, Baksa District, Assam and re- registered the case on 22/07/2014 at PS NIA, Guwahati as Case RC-02/2014/NIA/GUW under section 120(B), 147,122,123,436,302 of IPC, Section 25 (I-A) & 27 of Arms Act and section 10 & 13 of UA (P) Act.

Summary of Allegations

This case covers Conspiracy to commit terrorist act and unleashing terror in the mind of the common people by indiscriminate firing resulting in the killing of innocent people by suspected militants and collecting of arms with the intention of waging war against the Govt. of India.

Present Status of Investigation

Charge sheet was filed against 04 accused persons on 31/10/2014 before the Hon’ble NIA Special Court Guwahati. Further investigation is in progress.
