As per GOI, MHA order No. 11011/24/2012-IS-IV dated 01/01/2013 and 07/02/2013 NIA took over the investigation of the FIR No. 40/2012 dated 21/04/2012 of PS- Diphupar, Dimapur, Nagaland and re- registered the case on 08/02/2013 at PS NIA, Guwahati as Case No. RC-01/2013/NIA/GUW u/s 120 B, 406,409 of IPC, Section 25(1B) (a) (b) of Arms Act, Section 16, 18 of UA (P) Act and Section 29 of Police Act 1861.

Summary of Allegations

Illegal collection and possession of huge quantity of arms and ammunition by Nagaland Police personnel for further supplying to NSCN (IM) who are using the same for training their cadres and youths for waging war against India.

Present Status of Investigation

Investigation completed and under trial.
