As per Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Order No. 11011/67/2014/IS.IV dated 04/11/2015, National Investigation Agency (NIA) took over the investigation of FIR No.597/2014 registered under section 121A ,122 & 120B of Indian Penal Code, Section 4 & 5 of Explosive Substances Act and Sections 12,18 & 23 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 at Kotwali City Police Station, District Bijnaur, Uttar Pradesh and NIA re-registered the case on 12/11/2015 at NIA Police Station , New Delhi as Case No.RC-10/2015/NIA/DLI under sections 121A ,122 & 120B of Indian Penal Code, Section 4 & 5 of Explosive Substances Act and Sections 18,12&23 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967

Summary of Allegations

On 18/09/2014 , Raees Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed and Adbullah Son of Raees Ahmed resident of Uttar Pradesh , were arrested by local Police, Bijnore, Uttar Police and recovered one detonator and three batteries from their possession. These persons were engaged in the larger conspiracy to wage war against the Government of India by organising terror attacks in different parts of India.

Present Status of Investigation

State Police has filed two charge-sheets in this case.The case is under trial .
