As per Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs (IS-IV) Oder No. 11011/67/2013-IS.IV dated 31/10/2013 NIA has taken over the investigation of FIR No. 451/2013 dated 27/10/2013 of Gandhi Maidan Police Station, Bihar and re- registered the case on 01/11/2013 at PS NIA, New Delhi as Case No. RC-10/2013/NIA/ Under section 307,326,120 (B), 121, 121 (A) r/w 34 of IPC, Section 16,18,20 of UA (P) Act, Section 3,5 of Explosive Substances Act and Section 151,153 of Railway Act.

Summary of Allegations:

Accused(s) committed an act of terror by exploding explosives inside the public convenience area at platform Number 10 of Railway Station, Patna Junction, Bihar, India and caused damage to life and property.

Present Status of Investigation: 

Charge sheet was filed in the Hon'ble NIA court at Patna on 24/04/2014 against accused Imtiyaz Ansari. After further investigation, supplementary charge sheet was filed in the Hon'ble NIA court at Patna on 22/08/2014 against l0 accused persons (combined supplementary charge sheet with RC-10, l l &12 /2013/NIA-DLI).
