Summary of Allegations

The Central Government has received information from the Government of Karnataka that a case was registered as FIR no. 229/2020, dated 12.08.2020, registered at PS Kadugondana Halli, Distt Bengaluru City, Karnataka under sections 143, 147, 148, 353, 333, 332, 436, 427 & 149 of IPC, 1860, sections 4 of Prevention of Damage to Public property act 1984 and sections 15, 16, 18 and 20 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 were added subsequently, regarding mob attack on Kadugondana Halli police station with the intention to create panic and terror among the people and society as a whole.

Present Status of Investigation

The case is under investigation.
