Summary of Allegations

As per FIR No. 55(12)/2016 of PS Morch, District Tengnoupal, Manipur on 15.12.2016, Police team in three vehicles were proceeding to Tengnoupal from Moreh in connection with the visit of the Chief Minister for the inauguration of the newly created district. The police team was ambushed by heavily armed militants suspected to be cadres of NSCN (IM) along NH-102 resulting death of three (03) police persons and injuries to others.
