Summary of Allegations
The Central Government received an information regarding registration of case FIR No. 111/2020 dated 20.06.2020 at PS-Rajbagh, District-Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir (J&K), u/s 121, 121-A & 122 of the IPC, u/s 18 & 20 of UA(P) Act, 1967, u/s 4 & 5 of Explosive
Substances Act and u/s 7 & 25 of Arms Act relating to the troops of BSF patrolling party while patrolling on 20.06.2020 between BP No. 23 & 24 of BOP Pansar, noticed and shot down a Hexa Copter, inside the Indian territory at around 70 m height and approximately
25 m from the International border. The Hexa Copter, 04 Nos. of batteries, 01 radio signal receiver, 02 GPS, 07 hand grenades, 01 number M-4 Carbine machine (US made), 02 magazines, 60 rounds of 5.56 mm along with packing material and wooden crate were recovered
from the site. The Hexa Copter had breached the security grid as it was coming from Pakistan to Indian Territory in order to disturb peace, security and sovereignty of India.
Present Status of Investigation
The case is under investigation.
