Summary of Allegations

The Central Government has received information regarding registration of a CR No. 43/2020 dated 09.02.2020 at PS Sahar, District Mumbai, Maharashtra under sections 489B, 489C, 120B & 34 of the IPC, relating to recovery of genuine Indian Currency of Rs. 350/- and 1193 numbers of FICNs in the denomination of Rs. 2000/- having total face value Rs. 23,86,000/- from the possession of the arrested accused person namely, Javed Gulamnabi Shaikh, resident of A/401, 4th floor, Jafir Apartment, Old Station Road, Near Jumma Masjid, Kalwa (West), Thane on 09.02.2020 by the police officials of DCB, CIB, Unit-8, Mumbai at the Bus Stop near Arrival Terminal-02, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Andheri, Mumbai.
