The Central Government has received information regarding registration of a case by DRI, Regional unit of Nagpur Maharashtra vide file No. DRI/MZU/NRU/INT-04/2020 dated 16.01.2020 under section 136 of the Customs Act, 1962 relating to arrest of one accused person Lalu Khan from Hazrat Tajuddin Baba Dargha, Nagpur, Maharshtra on 13.01.2020 and seizure of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICNs) having face value of Rs. 13,67,500/- (386 x Rs. 2000 & 1191 x Rs. 500) from his possession.
