Summary of Allegations

The Central Government has received information regarding registration of a case No. 08/2019 dated 26.11.2019 at PS ATS, Gomtinagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh under sections 489A, 489B & 489C of the Indian Penal Code relating to seizure of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICNs) having total face value of Rs. 1,79,000/- from the possession of three accused persons namely (i) Phulchand S/o Sukhlal Rathod R/o Fatehpur, PS Maigalganj, District Lakhimpurkhiri, UP (ii) Aminul Islam S/o Amir Sheikh R/o village Shahbajpur, Sadhari Tola, PS Kailiachak, Malda, West Bengal (iii) Nasiba Khatoon D/o Inamul Haq R/o Shahbajpur, PS Kailiachak, Malda, West Bengal.
