As per Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Order No. I-11034/18/2011-IS-IV dated 01/04/2011 National Investigation Agency (NIA) took over the investigation of the FIR No. 661/2007 dated 29/12/2007 of Police Station Industrial Area, Dewas and re- registered the case on 25/06/2011 at NIA Police Station , New Delhi as Case No. RC-08/2011/NIA/DLI under Section 302, 120(B), 34, 201 of IPC , Section 16 & 18 of UA(P) Act and section 25 & 27 Arms Act

Summary of Allegations

On 29/12/2007 at about 20.30 hrs, Sunil Joshi @ Guruji @ Manoj s/o Shamlal Joshi resident of Dewas, M.P. was shot dead by some unknown persons while he was coming on foot from his house at Awasnagar, Dewas to his Ashram at Chuna Khadan on 29/12/2007. Accordingly, a case vide FIR. No.661/2007 under Section 302 I.P.C. was registered in Police Station, Industrial area Dewas, District Indore, M.P

Present Status

MP Police filed charge sheet before the Hon’ble JMFC, Dewas against 05 accused persons under Section 302, 120(B), 34, 201 of IPC and Sce. 25 & 27 of Arms Act. NIA filed charge sheet in the Hon’ble Court Spl. Judge NIA at Bhopal on 14/08/2014 against 05 accused persons and the same has been transferred to the Court of Addl. District & Session Judge, Dewas, M.P. Case was transferred to other agencies.
