Summary of Allegations

The Central Government has received information from the government of India that a case was registered as FIR no. 339/2019, dated 05.04.2019, registered at PS Paltan Bazar, Guwahati under sections 120B, 420 and 489C of the Indian Penal Code, regarding seizure of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICNs) in the denomination of Rs. 200/- (420 pieces) and Rs. 500/- (200 pieces) of face value Rs. 1,84,000 /- from the possession of 03 accused persons during a random search conducted by police party, PS Paltan Bazar at Islampur road near Solapara flyover on 05.04.2019 in Guwahati, Assam.
