Summary of Allegations

Central Government has received information that a case FIR No. 118/2019 dated 02.02.2019 has been registered at PS Bettiah Town, West Champaran, Bihar under sections 420, 489A, 489B, 489C, 120B and 34 Indian Penal Code regarding recovery of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) amounting to Rs. 04 lakhs in Rs. 2000 denomination by a police party of PS Bettiah from the possession of accused person Julkar Shaikh, s/o Shaikh Kudus r/o PS Bostnagar, Distt. Malda, West Bengal.

The case is under investigation.
