Summary of Allegations

The Central Government has received information from the Government of Uttar Pradesh that a case FIR No. 02/2017, Dated 08,03,2017 under sections 307, 121A,122,123,124A of Indian Penal Code, sections 3,4,25,27 of Arms Act and sections 16,18 & 23 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 has been registered at ATS Police Station Lucknow UP, regarding arrest of an active cadre of Islamic State (IS) who along with his other associates is suspected to be invloved in terror activities including but not limited to the Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train blast in Madhya Pradesh on 07.03.2017.

Present Status of Investigation

The case is under further investigation.
