Summary of Allegations

Information has been received by the central Government that a group of terrorists attacked the Infantry Brigade Headquarters , DCB Uri in the early morning of 18-09-2016 , which resulted in the killing of 17 Army personnel and injuries to 19 others . In this regard , FIR NO. 71/2016 under section 7,27 of the Arms Act , Sections 302,307,124A,120B of the Ranbir Penal Code , Section 15,16 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967 has been registered at P S Uri , District Baramula , Jammu and Kashmir.

The case is under further investigation.
