As per Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs No. 11011/22/2016-IS.IV dated 15/09/2016, National Investigation Agency (NIA) took over the investigation of FIR No. 01/2016  dated 16/01/2016 of  PS Pongchau Distt. Longding Arunachal Pradesh and re- registered the case on 20/09/2016 at NIA Police Station , Guwahati as Case No. RC-02/2016/NIA/GUW under section 344,346  of IPC and section 10 & 13 of UA (P) Act,1967.
