Summary of Allegations

Initially, as per the FIR No.0083 dated 13/11/2015 registered by GRP Khurdha Road Police Station, the offence was suspected to be that of mischief by fire or explosive substance under sections 436 & 438 IPC and damage to Railway property under Sections 151, 152 & 153 of Railway Act and section 4 of PDPP Act and subsequently, sections 16 & 18 of UA (P) Act was added during the course of investigation by GRP. In the same incident, RPF/POST/PURI registered case No.C3/C-743/2015 dated 12/11/2015 under sections 145, 147 & 153 Railway Act.. This incident appears to be a criminal conspiracy by the terrorist module.

Present Status of Investigation

The Case has been transferred to Odisha Police for further investigation.
