Summary of Allegations

The Central Government has received information regarding registration of case was registered as case No. 01/CI/IMP/DRI/MLD/2019-20 dated 16.09.2019 by DRI, Sub Regional Unit, Malda, West Bengal regarding recovery of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICNs) in denomination of Rs. 2000 (99 pieces) & Rs. 500 (02 pieces) for face value of Rs. 1,99,000/- from the possession of 01 accused person namely Asim Sarkar S/o Apoo Sarkar at Station Road, Jhaljhalia, Malda, West Bengal.

The case is under investigation.
