Summary of Allegations

The Central Government has received information that a case, FIR No. 19/2016 dated 01/10/2016, has been registered at PS Rail Raxaul, District Muzaffarpur (Railway), Bihar, regarding planting of pressure cooker IED at Railway Track, Ghorasan, Motihari, and three persons, namely Moti Lal Paswan, Umashanker Patel and Mukesh Yadav arrested by the Motihari Police in connection with the case vide FIR No. 07/2017, dated 14/01/2017 registered at PS Adapur, have confessed to their involvement along with that of other accused in planting the pressure cooker IED at the Railway Track, Ghorasan, Motihari.

Present Status of Investigation

The case is under further investigation.
