FIR No. 49/2010 of PS Bhavani Nagar, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh was registered on 3/5/2010. Later, Govt. of India transferred the case to NIA for further investigation.
Accordingly, a Case No.RC-08/2010/NIA-DLI was registered at PS NIA on 22.07.2010.
Summary of Allegations:
The case pertains to illegal possessions of arms and explosive materials by one Mohd Zia-Ul-Haq @ Jani @ Abu Abdullah of the banned
terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Present Status: Charge sheet has been filed before Hon’ble against Hon’ble IVth Addl. MSJ Court, NIA, Hyderabad on 29/10/2010 aganist 02 accused persons u/s 120 -B, 122,123,124-A IPC, Sec. 5 of Explosive Substance Act, and section 25 (1) (B) (a) of Indian Arms Act and Sec16, 18, 20, 23 of UA (P) Act, 1967. Trial is in progress.
